CameraFTP offers FTP cloud storage to IP cameras. Our service is compatible with almost all IP cameras, i.e. almost all IP cameras can connect to our FTP site ftp.cameraftp.com and upload images/video clips to our cloud storage. You can download the recorded footage using any standard FTP client software.

For regular IP cameras, CameraFTP offers web-based players and mobile viewer apps that can view the scene in (near) real-time, or play back the recorded footage.

For IP cameras  and webcams connected to our Virtual Security System software, we support video / audio recording and playback.

For advanced IP cameras that can upload video clips, currently we support .mp4 video format. For other video formats, you may or may not be able to use our player. If a format is not supported by our player, you just need to download the video clips using any FTP software, or use a web browser. For batch downloading files, you can use an FTP client such as FileZilla; on Windows, you can also use Windows Explorer directly, just enter:

ftp://USERNAME:PASSWORD@ftp.cameraftp.com/

You can then play the recorded video on your local computer. For certain video types, you might have to search for a player online, or contact your camera's manufacturer.

We are adding support to .AVI format video files. Currently, it is supported on Windows Phone (because it is a Microsoft video format). We will support Windows 8 and 8.1 very soon (and the other platforms to follow).
